ScienceDIVER: Introduction to Scientific Diving is a hands-on, interdisciplinary training programme for certified divers who want to enter the world of scientific diving. It combines safety, underwater survey, sampling, data recording, and field communication with practical diving experience and essential theory.
Aligned with ISO 8804-1, the programme supports participants in building the core skills needed to contribute to underwater research in archaeology, marine science, geology, ecology, and related fields. It is designed to develop confident, capable divers ready for real scientific work in the field.
